1. What cookies are used for

WrenchDay may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar browser technologies for authentication, session continuity, security, preferences, onboarding state, role-aware navigation, subscription state, analytics, and product reliability.

2. Categories

Strictly necessary technologies support login, session validation, account security, routing, fraud prevention, and payment or subscription workflows.

Preference technologies may remember UI settings, theme choices, onboarding progress, navigation preferences, and shop workflow configuration.

Analytics or diagnostics technologies may help understand product usage, errors, performance, and reliability if enabled.

3. Third parties

Third-party providers such as authentication, payment, analytics, email, SMS, hosting, storage, or monitoring providers may set or read technologies as needed to deliver their services.

If a user allows optional analytics, WrenchDay loads Microsoft Clarity for session analytics, interaction measurement, heatmaps, diagnostic events, and privacy-masked session recordings. The Clarity tag is not loaded before that choice.

If a user allows optional analytics, WrenchDay loads Google Analytics for sanitized page and screen measurement, acquisition and conversion events, and privacy-limited product interaction reporting. Google advertising storage, advertising user data, personalization, and Google Signals are disabled in WrenchDay’s tag configuration. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep the tag off in supported browsers.

Stripe and other payment providers may use cookies or similar technologies during checkout, billing portal, Connect onboarding, payment verification, fraud prevention, and hosted invoice flows.

4. Controls

Users can control some browser technologies through browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent login, checkout, public payment, booking, or other features from working correctly.

On the web, optional Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity stay off until a user selects Allow analytics. Privacy choices remain available after a selection. Declining or revoking optional web analytics sends denial signals, clears recognized first-party analytics cookies where accessible, and prevents the optional tags from loading on the next page load. Provider cookies that WrenchDay cannot access may remain until they expire or the user clears them in the browser.

In the native shop app, optional Google Analytics stays off until the signed-in user enables Share product analytics in Settings > Privacy. Disabling it stops future optional events on that device and resets the local analytics identifier.

Necessary authentication, security, fraud-prevention, and service-delivery technologies are not disabled by the analytics choice. Users can also use browser privacy settings and contact hello@wrenchday.com with a tracking-technology question.
